Space exploration depends on an enormous amount of equipment being designed, manufactured, and launched from Earth. As missions become longer and travel farther, bringing every tool, component, and replacement part becomes increasingly challenging. This independent concept explores In-Space Manufacturing — imagining a future where spacecraft could manufacture essential components directly in orbit.

Every additional component sent into space adds weight, cost, and logistical complexity. For long-duration missions, relying entirely on supplies launched from Earth becomes increasingly limiting.

Instead of designing spacecraft around everything they might need to carry, what if they could make what they need along the way?
